Is it "Use XP Mode"? On the topic of Office or Can they be used for commercial or business purposes? What about Home business or small business or maybe part-tme business? Is it all concidered Business? Microsoft Works 9 is 32 bit software, if it works on Windows Vista, it is likely to work on either Windows 7 32 or 64 bit. As for Office Home and Student, my license clearly says on the box that it is clearly for non-commercial use.

Microsoft Works is a single user license, so, if you were to install it on Windows XP and Vista you would need to purchase an additional license. Microsoft Works does not include product activation, so there is nothing preventing you from installing it on multiple installations.
Then I got this laptop with Windows 10 pre-installed and have stood on my head in a snow bank, surrounded by sharks to try to get this program installed on Windows Don't call yourself a computer dummy because you're in effect calling other people the same. Maybe it's just that we've been too busy leading REAL lives than to pay our undivided attention to some machine! I really like Works too. It's easy to use and it lets the user be as creative as they'd like to be.
All I can surmise is that Microsoft hasn't made enough money yet so they keep changing their systems to get us to buy new programming or pc's etc. I don't know about you but I still do use pen and paper. It may not be as exciting or as quick as the internet but it sure is a lot less stressful!
